Toni Albiol has won the Best Sommelier of Catalonia contest 2023 awarded by the Catalan Association of Sommeliers

Anna Casabona has achieved the second position while the third place has been for Marta Cortizas.The verdict was announced during the La Nit dels Sommeliers dinner 2023 held in the facilities of the Restaurant of the Club Náutico de Salou.
In a closely contested final, Albiol, Casabona and Cortizas have reached the final test after passing a first test in which a total of 17 participants from all over Catalonia.

At the time of receiving this award, from the hands of the Minister of Climate Action of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Teresa Jordan Albiol wanted to thank his family ” the patience and support they have given him during so many years of training and profession ” in front of the wine barDivine located in the city of Martorell .

Albiol has also encouraged the new generations of professional sommeliers ” so that they continue in this line of continuous training and to maintain the high bar that sommelierry currently has in Catalonia “. Albiol had achieved third place in the contest held last year in Girona.
