Summary of wine tasting Mallorca 3/09/2014

The last two weekends in stores Aviñó wines have been tasted wines from Mallorca. An experience that those who have not been able to attend, here is a brief summary here.

As we made long ago, Wines Aviñó offer tastings and tastings to make you closer to the world of wine. This time it was the turn of wines from Mallorca. While we could have chosen a broader spectrum, we focused on three references to the whole summer. These are Km.1 (white and pink) and Randemar (white), which we describe below.

The Km.1, wines, have in common a nice unassuming, but notes some individuals. In the case of Km.1 Blanc made Premsal Blanc has a fruity but not excessive, quite soft on the nose and in the mouth very soft and very persistent. A correct option in some snacks to share with friends. In the case of Km.1 Rosé, made with Callet, we have a wine with little body, slightly fruity with a brief, subtle and pleasing sizzle in your mouth feel. A good alternative for summer dishes, such as pasta salads and other light meals.

In the case of Randemar Blanc Binissalem find the Premsal Blanc, Chardonnay acomopanyat, Frontignan Muscat and Chardonnay. With a little more body than Km.1 also has major presence of fruit on the nose and mouth and also has a gentle persistence. Like the others, it is recommended for light snacks and appetizers.

It is true that we are in September, as the song says, the insects begin to die. But summer is not yet buried. What if the Mallorcan goodbye with a smile?
